Training

Exercise

Of course, there is no magic training model that gives quick and easy results no matter what the TV shop says. But I will try to give you tips that will help you achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Therefore, I start by going through different kinds of crowding methods and what benefits they have. The best training is the one you are doing, so allways train what you like because it's much more likely you stick to it.

Weight Training

Everyone should try strength training at least a little bit because it has so many benefits. Preferably basic exercises such as deadlifts, leg bends, bench press and rowing. Strength training makes you stronger, provides better posture and increases the metabolism in the body when you are not training. If you want to lose weight, strength training is the best training to focus on (diet is always most important).

Remember that the technique and form in the exercise should always have the highest priority and not be thumbed on to increase the weight. As with all training, you only get an effect if you take in properly, the idea is that you should be completely exhausted in the muscles after the workout.

Hiit

There are many variations of high intensity interval training. However, they all have in common that in a relatively short time you can burn many calories while improving your fitness and building muscle. However, it is important to choose the right exercises so as not to risk injury and to get the greatest effect possible. The recovery after hiit is longer than after steady state like walking.

Cardio training

Many people believe that lots of cardio is the recipe for weight loss. This is usually not true except for one exception, everyday exercise and walking. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking or cycling to work instead of taking the bus is a great way to burn calories.

But when cardio is in the form of running, spinning or the like, it rarely has a big effect on weight loss. This form of exercise can also be tiring for the joints and other parts of the body if performed too often. Cardio training, however, provides better fitness, which is very good for the body, so running a couple of sessions a week is recommended.

The best way to increse your VO2 max is to do interval training, then you train your fitness faster while some research shows that it reduces the risk of muscle strain compared to running long distance.

Yoga, basket and all other exercise then?

Almost all forms of exercise actually fall under the three forms above. Yoga is often strength training with a focus on certain muscles and can be a good way to train yourself with the help of your own body weight. Basket is cardio training in the form of intervals, which is very good to train. Cross fit is usually a combination of Hiit and strength training (unfortunately, the technique can sometimes take a beating if the trainer is bad).
