Do not lie to yourself!


It's so easy to tell yourself different excuses about why you have not succeeded in your goals. But you know yourself why you have not succeeded, right? The reason why you are not better trained is because you have neglected your diet and maybe even your training. You can not believe that a little walk makes up because you ate a lot of candy. You do not believe deep down that you have really eaten completely healthy, so do not fool yourself that this is the case.

Do not even think about the fact that you have earned a pizza for dinner because you were out running earlier today. You know it does not work that way, but still it is so heavenly easy to fall into that trap. You give yourself excuses to fail with diet and exercise.


If you recognize yourself in the following, you know that you have deceived yourself!


"I'm tired today it's probably best I rest from training"

"It does not matter what I eat, I still do not lose weight"

"She / he can eat anything and still be slim, it's so unfair"

"I will train tomorrow instead of today"

"It's so hard to eat healthy, I do not have time for that"

"It's in the genes, my mother is not thin either"

"I'm so hungry today that I have to eat pizza, a salad is not enough"

"I do not have time to train, I have so much to do"

"I can not eat healthy but must eat in the same way as the children"


It's so easy to come up with excuses for yourself why you do not get slimmer, stronger or get better condition. I know for myself that I have often fallen into that trap and fooled myself. Because it's so easy to trip for yourself this way, it's obviously not that easy, is it?


It's mostly because you've really made up your mind. If you have not decided to really get to serious with diet and exercise, you will never succeed. It's as simple as that.


It's when you do not really want to do something that you start fooling yourself. So to reduce the risk of hindering for yourself, you really must have decided to succeed. Then the risk is less that you are fooling yourself when you are aware that it can happen.
